I have a bloodhound that loves to drink her water and swing it all over as she thoroughly enjoys her drinks. With this bowl she cannot get her ears in the water and does not slop the water all around as she’s drinking/slurping it up. She is a hound so she will still have water hanging from her jowls but this bowl has helped significantly with the pools of water I would have after each drink. And her slurping is much quieter too. We don’t have to turn the tv up to be able to hear over her voracious drinking!
My only issue is that it is somewhat difficult to remove the top from the rest of the bowl when I need to clean it. It takes quite a bit of finagling but I’m eventually able to pry it off. Have broken a few fingernails in the process, but it’s a price I’m willing to pay to keep the flooding under control! I highly recommend this product if you are looking for ways to keep your floors a bit drier and the slurping sounds under control, great invention for hound enthusiasts or otherwise messy doggo’s!
